SEPTEMBER BLUES: K2 Blue, Azurite, and Sapphire
Looking for some truly unique gemstones? We have here a Blueberry Azurite geode from Bisbee AZ that displays a gorgeous pocket of sparkling dark blue Azurite crystals. Next, the large center stone is K2 Blue Jasper, displaying large patterns of Blue Azurite in Jasper and Granite. The stone is its natural finish and polished flat on exposed back. K2 refers to the source of this gem, the second largest mountain on Earth located in Pakistan!
And ending on the tip in tribute to September babies is a 3.5mm faceted Sapphire birthstone.
My hand fabricated setting is in Fine Silver and Sterling Silver, lightly oxidized and brush finished.
